    Good lesson. I have been teaching the ‘ stop chord’ with my students for a while. I try to explain that it is just as important as an actual chord.

    Truly enjoy the lesson sessions but you are never able to really let loose and show all your guitar skills, just little pieces. Would love to see a video where the crew of RockOnGoodPeople have full blown jam session and you truly have the chance to Rock On. Come on guys, knock my socks off…dare ya!

    As Dave explained at the beginning, you use the palm method with open chords. That isn’t necessary with barre chords. There, the method he explains is usually use.

    I suppose you could use the palm method on barre chords too, but why not do it the easier way?
